Musings on sustainable movements, cultural impacts, and emerging technologies. Similar to newspaper Editorial sections only much better and with one combined Editor and Commentator...Mike (me).

Its about that time of year of the dreaded summer reading list. Personally and perhaps strangely I love reading. Here are my picks for environmentally minded summer reads.

1) Cradle to Cradle by William McDonough and Michael Braungart: Brilliantly well thought out and simultaneously frightening.

2) Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser: Where are food really is coming from. Also I have heard rave reviews for the new movie with research from the book entitled Food Inc.

3) Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer: A new type of coming of age story. See also the movie.

With two out of the three having movie companions it's almost like not reading at all. All can be found at Amazon or your favorite local book store (preferably the latter).
