In many of the organizations I see attempting to create positive environmental change, too often I discover that the youth component is sadly overlooked.  In my community, Buffalo NY, USA, we have several environmental groups forming coalitions and the youth from the community are "not at the table".  What does your community do to empower its youth to step up as Change Leaders?  What successes have you had in reaching out to youth and offer them training in leadership, especially tgransformational and transcendent leadership?  If these terms are unclear to you, do a bit of research and return to comment here and share your wisdom.
