Solar Panel Education

Some pictures - still to come

A description of the project - The Park School of Buffalo will be installing solar panels on two campus buildings. The team is in charge of educating the Park community about the solar panels.

State data that supports positive change in the environment has occurred - The students have started their preparations for a morning meeting assembly. They have been baking in a solar oven to show how people can use solar in their everyday lives. Students from all grades have been curious about the oven and have been checking in on the baking progress. They were amazed that you could cook with solar. The group will continue with this education next week and serve the cake at our assembly. They will educate the study body more in depth about the panels at Park.

If money was spent, how much and for what purposes? Approximately $100 has been spent. $50 on ingredients for the solar cakes and $50 for the retreat to work on the action plan.

If money would help your project, what would it be used for? The money would be used to purchase professional posters for the education site and possibly models for the site as well.
